Process

01

Consultation

An initial conversation about the subject, context, and intended display environment. For portraits, we discuss the subject's domain and how it translates into the geometry of the wave state.

02

Reference & Composition

A photographic reference session or site visit. Compositional studies establish the focal zone placement, the transition boundary, and the structure of the periphery.

03

Execution

The painting is built in three phases: the focal zone first, with realistic precision, then the transition boundary, then the wave state periphery. Two check-in points for feedback.

04

Delivery

Professional stretching, varnishing, and delivery. Crating and shipping available for interstate and international collectors.

Terms

Deposit

A 50% deposit secures your place in the schedule and covers materials. It is non-refundable once work begins. For works over $15,000, a 40 / 30 / 30 split — at commencement, at composition approval, and on completion — is also available.

Balance & cancellation

The balance is due on completion, before delivery. If a commission is cancelled after work begins, the deposit is retained; nothing further is owed. Final pricing is confirmed in writing before the deposit is taken.
